Hi Francine,
Welcome back to planDisney!
How exciting to see that you have an upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort planned! The good news is that if you see that
Memory Maker linked in My Disney Experience on the website, it is linked to your account. While you may not see Memory Maker linked in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, you can always double-check to make sure it is linked using the mobile app. Just open the app, click on My Tickets & Passes, click on the plus sign at the top of the screen, and then click on the option to Link Tickets & Passes. You should then see an option to Link Memory Maker. Then, if you have the Memory Maker ID#, click on the option to Type ID. Just know that the mobile app may include future updates, so linking Memory Maker may entail a slightly different process in the future.
When we arrive to our first theme park, we take a photo with a
Disney PhotoPass® Service photographer and then I check the mobile app to make sure our photos are appearing. After taking those first photos, open the mobile app and go to the Disney PhotoPass Photo Gallery. You may have to click on a button to activate your Memory Maker when you first arrive. Occasionally, we have also had to
locate missing photos that did not automatically link in My Disney Experience. So, make sure to check your account periodically during your visit to make sure you see all of your photos!
Francine, as you continue the
practically perfect planning, I hope you have considered doing a Capture Your Moment photo session. My family did the
Capture Your Moment: Magic Kingdom Park session and had the best time! It did not take long, our photographer was great, and the digital photos were included with Memory Maker. I do have one final tip - always double-check the terms and conditions received when you made your Memory Maker purchase so that you know exactly what is included!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
