Hi, I have just purchased a GO PRO camera for next months holiday I was wondering if I could use it with a chest or wrist harness on the rides please? Also are all selfie sticks banned or are you allowed the very short poles with no extension please?

    Hello, Dawn-Marie,

Thank you for your question.  The Park Rules do not exclude Go Pro cameras, but there is a restriction that does state that videotaping for commercial purposes is restricted.  As long as you aren't doing that and the camera isn't a risk to you and any other guests' safety, I don't see that there would be a problem.  In fact, YouTube is filled with many videos of other guests wearing them and their experiences at Walt Disney World as seen through the camera.

As for the selfie-stick, they are not allowed regardless of the dimension of its pole. You are welcome to ask any cast member to take your photo, though!

Whig you a magical trip! If you have any further questions, please let us know. -Kara
