It’s true what they say, the
Disney Skyliner gondola system is the Most Magical Flight on Earth. The Disney Resorts Collection hotels that are on its line are wonderful on their own, but the Disney Skyliner makes them even more special.
As of now, no announcements have been made about a possible closure of the Disney Skyliner for maintenance. The announcements were made in August and October in past years for the January closures, so if this year follows suit, then we’ll hear something very soon for 2025.
My go-to official source for all-things-Disney news is the
Disney Parks Blog. If and when an announcement is made, it will be the first place that the update will be shared with us Disney fans. In the meantime, keep in mind that the Disney Skyliner is usually down for maintenance for only one week and it tends to be at the end of January. If you end up staying at a time when it’s down, there are still other
transportation options like complimentary bus service and paid Minnie Van Service.
