Welcome to planDisney Carmen, and thanks for stopping by with this question. I love getting more out of my trip, and I have actually done this very specific question you have asked. I’ll be happy to share what I have done in the past and what should work for you.
Walt Disney World decorates like no other place. From Halloween and Mickey pumpkins right into Christmas trees and Mickey wreaths everywhere. This magical transformation happens overnight! The cast members work tirelessly through the night, changing everything over from spooky to the wintery. While there is no guaranteed official date when this is set to happen, your target dates will give you both for sure. If your arrival is on or around Halloween, the next day following Halloween is when the change historically happens. The day it all switches over just blows your mind when you arrive knowing everything just had a fall theme yesterday. This place never ceases to amaze me, the magic continues to impress me each time I visit.
During your visit you might want to check out the
International Food and Wine Festival that
EPCOT hosts each year. This festival has delicious plates paired with beverages located all throughout World Showcase. These Global Marketplaces have food and drinks inspired by each country and rarely disappoint. There are also performances during this festival by legendary artists. The
Eat to the Beat Concert Series is always a hit. Boyz II Men is will be taking the stage on November 2nd and 3rd. And these performances coincide with your dates, which actually makes me a little jealous as I grew up in the early 90s wanting to be like these guys. If you’d like to guarantee your seats to the show because you are a huge fan of these performers, you can always get yourself a Festival Concert Series Dining Package. This will get you seats for one of the performances on the day of your meal, without having to wait in line.
I hope you’re excited about this opportunity to see both sets of decorations in the same week. If you have any other questions visit us again at

See ya real soon,
