Hi Wendy,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing exactly how many people plan to visit the Walt Disney World Resort during a given week. Historically, March tends to be a busy month due to Spring Break. In addition, I believe Easter Sunday is on March 27th in 2016, so late March is likely to be extremely busy… and is therefore likely to be more expensive too! Because I would personally stay as far away from Easter as possible, I would recommend the first week of March out of the dates you’ve identified.
If you’d like to get some more information about this topic, the team that writes the “Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World” has some of the best predictions about crowd levels at the Walt Disney World Resort throughout the year. They also have a subscription-based website, www.touringplans.com, that can provide you with more detailed and comprehensive and detailed crowd predictions.
Although I don’t know exactly when the 2016 packages and rates will be released and made available for booking, if I remember correctly, it’s usually some time in mid-to-late summer. For the latest information, and for a daily dose of Disney fun, I strongly recommend checking the
Disney Parks Blog on a regular basis. Announcements about 2016 packages and booking windows are likely to be made there first. You should also keep an eye on the
Special Offers page in order to see whether any special offers or deals may be available during your vacation dates.
Have fun planning your trip next March! Please come back to see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day!
Lynne
