Hi I am planning on buying tickets to Ooogie Boogie but I don't have the names of the friends /family members who can join me. Do I need them at the time of purchase? Or can I do it later closer to the date?

Boo to You, Laura! Welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing your question to us.

This week is definitely abuzz with all the energy of ticket sales for Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party! In fact, general admission tickets will go on sale June 27, 2024, no earlier than 9:00 AM, Pacific Time. My recommendation is to be ready to enter the virtual queue at 8:45 AM so that you are ready to go when the ticket sales commence! As you move through the ticket purchase process, you will be asked to enter the names of the Guests in your party, however, these names are generally most useful for the purpose of keeping track of them. The tickets will be officially assigned to the Guests using them at the time they scan them for their first entry to the park. A Cast Member will take their photo, which formally assigns the ticket and the same Guest would need to be the one utilizing it for the rest of its valid use.

Laura, while special event tickets may not be resold or transferred for commercial purposes, you can certainly opt to gift them to your friends or family members (which is such a lovely gesture!) Once you decide who will be using the tickets, you can call the Tickets line or use the chat feature in the Disneyland mobile app to request an update to the names on the tickets. I suggest you have the ticket ID handy to refer to during this conversation.

I hope this is a useful set of suggestions, Laura! And, more than anything, I hope you have a spectacular time during Oogie Boogie Bash. If you haven't yet visited Villains Grove, this is a truly one-of-a-kind experience that is worth making the time to experience during the party. I also recommend keeping your eye on the Disney Parks Blog as we get closer to the party dates, as I suspect they'll have some more details to announce, including a Foodie Guide which is always a great resource to continue planning your visit. If we can help with anything else in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out to planDisney again!

    Happy Haunts,
