Hi, I plan to visit WDW on January 2016. I have 3 child: 4,7,11. In 2013, we stay at the Polyand we loved it. But next time we plan a 10 days trip. I look to live 56 days at Poly and 5 days at Kidani Village. Is the move between both resort will be eas

    Hello, Karine,

How exciting that are planning a trip where you'll spend time at both Disney's Polynesian Village Resort as well as Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Both are such amazing resorts and such different experiences.  You will certainly have the chance to enjoy the best of both worlds!

We have split our stays at Walt Disney World many times, and the process is quite simple.  When you check out of your first resort, you'll want to have Bell Services take your luggage and let them know that you are moving to your second resort.  They will then take care of the rest (make sure to hold onto your receipt given to you for the bagggage).  Please note that you will be without your luggage for a portion of the day, so if there is anything you need during that time to keep it with you. Bell Services at your new resort can hold onto it if your room isn't ready, and it could also be stored in a rental locker at any of the theme parks.

When you arrive at your second resort (you can certainly go to the parks during the in-between time if you'd like), you'll want to check-in first then stop by Bell Services to let them know that you were having baggage transferred from another resort.  They will likely ask to see the baggage receipt given to you from the first resort. They will then hand you your luggage or deliver it to your room if you'd like assistance.

If we can help with any further questions, please let us know.  We are happy to help!  Wishing you a magical trip!  -Kara
