Hi--I have all of the park passes on my app on my phone. How do I transfer them to each of my adult daughters and my husband so I do not have to be with them when they go to the parks?

    Hi Alice, welcome to planDisney!

Your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the riverbend. Traveling with adult children definitely has its perks: no strollers, appreciation for lounges, and the minimum height requirement needed to experience all the thrills!

Take a look at your husband and daughter's names on your Family & Friends List. Do they appear with the words "Plans managed by me" underneath? If so, this means your family members have My Disney Experience account profiles managed by your primary account. If you wish to keep this set-up, your husband and daughters need to have their method of entry (Disney MagicMobile pass, MagicBand, or admission card) in hand or on wrist in order to access the theme parks without you.

As the primary account holder, you can download a Disney MagicMobile pass for everyone in the My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the home page --> Disney MagicMobile). Currently, Disney MagicMobile passes can only be shared through iMessage to other iPhone users. This option may or may not work for your family. Admission cards (obtained at theme park ticket windows) and MagicBands (linked to individuals in My Disney Experience) are other options for theme park entry that would allow your family members to access the parks without you.

If your family members have any interest in purchasing Disney Genie+ service and/or having more autonomy during your park days, I highly recommend they create their own My Disney Experience accounts. Once they do, follow these steps to merge the My Disney Experience account profiles housed in your account with their newly created accounts:

    1. Click "Update" next to a family member's name on your Family & Friends List.
    2. Click "Share Planning with [person's first name,]" which appears in the upper right corner of the Update Information box.
    3. Enter the email address connected to your family member's My Disney Experience account and click "Continue."
    4. Once your family member accepts the email invitation to connect, all plans linked to the profile housed in your account will automagically transfer to their new account. You will remain connected as Family & Friends, which means you can still view and make plans for each other.
    5. Repeat Steps 1-4 for the remaining family members.

With their own accounts and My Disney Experience mobile apps, your family members can download their Disney MagicMobile passes, purchase Disney Genie+ service, book Lightning Lanes, place mobile food and beverage orders, and more during your park days. Their accounts will also be in place for all future visits to Walt Disney World Resort.

Congrats on raising such magical daughters, Alice. Enjoy making magical memories together and don't hesitate to reach out to me directly with any follow-up questions!

    Plan magic; planDisney.
