Hi Bob,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad you came back with another great question!
MagicBands sure make visiting the Walt Disney World Resort simple! As a mama of five, I love that my Mouseketeers can keep their theme park tickets right on their wrists and I don't have to worry about finding cards each time we enter a FastPass+ queue!
MagicBands are reusable, however, since MagicBand batteries are estimated to last around two years, I'd say it's likely that yours won't work any more. You just never know, though. Maybe there will be some pixie-dusted Disney magic and they'll still operate just fine. Unfortunately, there's really no way to know that until you arrive at the most magical place on earth and try using them. I would suggest keeping your admission cards with you to be on the safe side and trying your MagicBands when you arrive. If they don't work, you'll find MagicBands for sale at retail locations all around the Walt Disney World Resort, so you'll have no trouble finding an adorable new one if need be. Just make sure you check that your
MagicBands are marked as "Active" in your My Disney Experience account because if they're marked as "Inactive," they definitely won't work. If you end up purchasing new ones, you'll simply need to
link them to your account to be able to use them.
Please let us know if we can help with anything else, Bob, and have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
