Hi Jane,
Welcome to planDisney!
My family absolutely adores
'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort! The good news is that, if you are visiting Disney Springs, you can take
Walt Disney World® Bus Service to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for your
advanced dining reservation. I do suggest that you give yourself at least an hour to get there. My family likes to arrive a little early and just admire the resort hotel. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is truly gorgeous. The shopping is unique, so take a few minutes to walk through the shops on your way to the restaurant.
If you booked dinner at 'Ohana, check the time of that reservation with the time of the Happily Ever After fireworks at Magic Kingdom. We love to dine during the fireworks show. On your arrival date,
Happily Ever After is currently scheduled for 9:20 p.m. I would make a reservation for around 8:15 p.m. Of course, if this is too late to eat, you can certainly dine earlier. I just wanted to be sure you had considered this option!
I do have one final tip - if you have some time, consider visiting the resorts with access to
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation before or after your meal. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Contemporary Resort are two of our favorite
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Just hop on the monorail from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
Jane, I hope this helps! Your visit is coming up soon. If you have a late dinner, when you arrive to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, just be sure to double-check the bus times to Disney Springs. We do not want you to miss the bus back - 'ohana means family and you are family! Sending a little extra pixie dust trusting that you will finish packing and have a safe journey!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
