Hi I am going on a 7 night cruise on November 30, and am wondering how to find out which characters will be on board? My little girl is very into princess, to include the Frozen characters and would just like to prepare her so she isn't disappointed.

    Hi, Jaime!
I know you must be checking days off the calendar, awaiting your November cruise! Fall weather is creeping in, and your sail date will be here before you know it.

One of the best things about a Disney Cruise is being able to meet and interact with some of your favorite Disney Characters. Each day of your cruise, you'll receive a Personal Navigator - a daily schedule of all the fun activities happening on the ship. There's a special section just for Character Greetings, where you can find times and locations for all the fun meet-and-greets.

I'm happy to hear your little princess is excited to meet Disney royalty! One of my favorite Character interactions is the Princess Gathering - a royal reception held in the Atrium Lobby and featuring several Disney Princesses. What fun it is to see the faces of the little girls when they step into the lobby and see so many of their favorite princesses gathered at once!

I can't say for sure if the sisters from Frozen will make an appearance, but I can tell you that Disney Cruise Line recently shared an article about Anna and Elsa kicking off a Royal Tour of the DCL fleet. The sisters have been surprising Disney cruisers with special appearances on select seven-night or longer cruises! Also, Anna appeared as a special holiday treat last year for cruisers on select cruises - we can cross our fingers she'll do the same on this year's Very Merrytime Cruises.

To stay up-to-date on the latest announcements from DCL, including special character appearances, I encourage you to follow Disney Cruise Line on the Disney Parks Blog, and on Facebook and Twitter. You never know what holiday surprises they may have planned!

    Have a magical day! - Diane W.
