Greetings and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question, Kimberley!
One of my family’s favorite things to do while staying at a Disney Resort hotel is taking advantage of
complimentary transportation to safely and conveniently travel throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Being able to explore all the different types of available transportation is so much fun and we always have a great time discovering different ways to travel around. I highly recommend adding the
Disney Skyliner to your transportation bucket list for your upcoming visit. You will glide across the sky to enjoy breathtaking views and add even more pixie dust to your day.
There is currently no direct transportation connecting
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort to
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge so your adventure to make it to
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White will be even more magical! Take bus transportation from your Disney Resort hotel to Magic Kingdom Park. Upon arrival, look for the Walt Disney World Resort Launches directly across park entrance and follow the signs to board the boat that will take you to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge/Artist Point/Whispering Canyon Cafe. Boats usually arrive every 10 to 15 minutes and the scenic ride takes about 10 minutes.
I personally recommend leaving Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort late in the afternoon to be able to enjoy some daylight as you make your way from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. This will give you the chance to see the beautiful nature around the Seven Seas Lagoon and you can even stop by
Geyser Point Bar & Grill to enjoy nice beverages and drinks before dinner. To return to your Disney Resort hotel, simply get back on the boat to Magic Kingdom Park and then hop on a bus to Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.
Moms Panel tip: to get to your dining reservation quickly, in comfort and in style, request the whimsical
Minnie Van Service using your smartphone! Please note that prices for this service vary based on distance traveled.
It was a pleasure answering your first question, Kimberley! I hope this helps you while planning and that you stop by once again real soon as you plan your visit.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
