Hi, I love your panel. I was just wondering if I will I be able to use my MagicBand for the PhotoPass+ that I ordered? And if so, do I attach it the same way that I would attach a ticket? Thanks.

Hello Amy!  As you probably know, the MagicBand technology is a work in process.  Different features are being rolled out as time goes on.  When I was at Disney last week, I asked this specific question when redeeming my voucher for my PhotoPass+ card.  I was told that at this time, you will always need to show your PP+ card for pictures at dining locations and attractions.  If you don't have your PP+ card at the attraction, you can write down the number of your picture and return to that location within 48 hours with your card to have it added.

As far as the regular pictures throughout the park, you can use your MagicBand at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.  As of last week, Animal Kingdom was in the process of being upgraded and Epcot will follow.  I'm not sure when your vacation is, but you could always ask the photographer if they can put the picture on your account through the MagicBand.  Super convenient!

If you end up getting additional PhotoPass cards throughout your vacation, don't worry - you can continue to add those to your account as you do today.

I strongly recommend taking a picture of the back of your PP+ card as well as any regular PP cards you may obtain throughout your vacation.  This way if they are misplaced or mixed up, you will have record of your card.

    Have a super vacation, Amy!
