Hi I am looking to stay in a Disney Hotel next year but it looks like breakfast isn’t included? If I have a dining plan can I use it for a breakfast? What is the best way to do it or good places to go please? Thanks Sarah

Hi, Sarah!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so glad to hEAR that you are planning to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel when you visit next year.  There are so many benefits available to guests of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, including the ability to purchase a Disney Dining Plan.

You may certainly use your Disney Dining Plan to purchase breakfast.  Your quick-service dining plan entitlements may be used at numerous quick-service dining locations all over the Walt Disney World Resort, many of which serve breakfast.  If you purchase a Disney Dining Plan that includes table-service meals, you will have even more options as to where to enjoy your morning meal.  Just be sure to make dining reservations if you wish to visit any table-service restaurants.  Dining reservations are strongly recommended and can be made 180 days in advance.

Once you decide which Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you wish to stay at, be sure to look into the dining options available at that particular hotel.  Many guests find that eating breakfast at their own resort hotel before heading out for a day of fun is the most convenient option.

Another great way to start your morning is with a character dining experience.  My family has a tradition of kicking off the first morning of each Walt Disney World Resort vacation with breakfast at Chef Mickey's.  We love the fun, exciting atmosphere of Chef Mickey's, as well as the yummy food.  Mickey waffles are definitely my favorite!

Did you know that many table-service restaurants inside the theme parks open for breakfast prior to the park's scheduled opening time?  If you are an early riser, booking a pre-park opening breakfast inside one of the Walt Disney World theme parks is a great way to get an early start to the fun.  A Cast Member at the park gates will verify that you have a dining reservation before letting you enter the park.  Once inside, it's a great time to take some photos without other guests walking through them because the park will be nearly empty.  After enjoying your breakfast, you may even have the opportunity to line up for certain attractions before other guests start making their way into the park. The Garden Grill Restaurant in Epcot is a great place to reserve a pre-park opening breakfast.  The Garden Grill Restaurant is located in the Land Pavilion, right upstairs from Soarin' Around the World.  When you're finished eating, you can head straight downstairs and get in line for this amazing attraction.
