Since you're hoping to purchase your
Disneyland Pass online, and that capability is only available when using the French, Belgian, and Dutch versions of the Disneyland Paris website, I reached out to a Disneyland Paris Cast Member for clarification on the policy in question. He helpfully shared that Disneyland Passes purchased online become valid from the date of purchase, so your 12 months of magic will begin immediately! Because of this, there's no set timeframe in which you must make your first visit, but if you opt to pay in monthly installments, you'll have 7 days to send the required documentation via post.
With this information in mind, if you decide you'd rather wait to make your purchase until you're in the middle of the magic,

You'll find a Disneyland Pass ticket office conveniently located right at the entrance to Disneyland Park, and don't forget that as a Disneyland Passholder, you'll be eligible for discounts on select meals and merchandise purchases during each visit. In my experience, being a Passholder actually saves my family money, and that's the kind of magical math I love!
