Hi! I would like to know if we can park our car in the Grand Floridian parking just to go see the gingerbread house and maybe go take a drink at the Enchanted Rose Lounge? Is the parking free?

    Bonjour Nadine,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Quebecker!

One of my favourite parts about the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort is visiting all of the Disney Resort Hotels and their absolutely stunning decorations. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is probably one of the most spectacular Holiday displays, due in no small part to their famous gingerbread house!

I’m happy to say that daytime standard self-parking is complimentary for you if you wish to go visit Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in order to dine there and visit the Holiday displays. Please note, however, that during busier times of year, the number of hours that you’ll be allowed to park there might be limited, and the parking lot may be full if you arrive later in the day. I’d highly recommend using Disney Resort Transportation to get around Walt Disney World Resort during the busy Christmas season, if you can use it.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également nous poser des questions en français!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
