Hey Monica and welcome to planDisney. Isn't seeing all the entertainment for your sailors on Disney Cruise Line ships exciting? Adults have their special section of the ship to relax and so do the kids. I completely understand why you want your kids to hang out and make memories. Mine are four years apart and the younger always wanted to go with the older.
When it comes to tween and teen spots like
Edge (ages 11-14) and
Vibe (14-17), they are age-specific and enforced as a matter of youth safety. The only time they both would be able to visit Edge is during
Open House when Guests of all ages can enjoy the activities.
Even though the 7-year-old needs to wait a few years until they can regularly visit Edge, they have both
Disney's Oceaneer Club and
Disney's Oceaneer Lab to explore, create, and have fun.
Also, there are plenty of activities that your kids can do together such as: water sides like the AquaDuck, AquaDunk, and AquaMouse (supervised by a parent), Disney movies in the Walt Disney or Buena Vista Theaters, the
Midship Detective Agency, and of course, laps around the pool deck with pit stops at
Eye Scream Treats soft serve. You can keep in touch with them through the chat feature of the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App if you want them to explore on their own.
Monica, it will be smooth sailing for your kids with all the awesome activities on board. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories on the High Seas.
