Hi Deborah! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am so happy that you have your vacation priorities straight ... at least you do in my opinion! I often make a list of the food and beverages that I
must try during my visit. My husband's favorite pair of socks feature pictures of little Dole Whips, so this yummy creation obviously has a special place in our family!
There are quite a few spots that offer the iconic Dole Whip with rum and in my experience, the rum offered is usually either Coconut Rum or Dark Rum. First, in
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Pineapple Lanai and Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace are the places to be. (If you head to Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace, I also recommend the Pan-fried Dumplings. They are delicious!) A few months ago, I noticed a spiked Dole Whip with Spiced Rum on the menu at BoardWalk Joe's Marvelous Margaritas at
Disney's BoardWalk. Since I'm not typically a margarita fan, I loved this addition to the menu! In the theme parks and water parks, adult Dole Whip variations can typically be found at Tamu Tamu Refreshments in
Disney's Animal Kingdom or Typhoon Tilly's in
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. With this being a popular choice of refreshment for so many Guests, more and more locations continue bringing this offering to their menus. Make sure to keep an eye out for new spots during your upcoming stay!
I hope this helps satisfy your pineapple-loving taste buds, Deborah! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
