Hello Luke, and welcome to planDisney!
Luke, you are living my dream! As the current
UK-based Panelist here at planDisney, I sometimes sit and daydream about the possibilities of one day perhaps becoming a homeowner in the Sunshine State of Florida... after all, a dream is a wish your heart makes!
With so much to do in Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, I think it's bibbidi-bobbidi-brilliant that Florida residents currently receive concessions on their Disney Theme Park Tickets.
Luke, I'm happy to share that when
purchasing Florida Resident Disney Theme Park Tickets, residents are required to prove their Florida residency by providing either a valid Florida driver’s license which states their Florida address, or a valid Florida state-issued ID card, again with their Florida address on it, or a valid Florida-based military ID card.
Luke, I fully understand that as a British citizen, you may not have any of the above-mentioned forms of ID. However, not to worry as Florida residents are also able to provide Cast Members with a valid photo ID (such as your passport or drivers license), plus an additional formal document from the list below -
It's important to note that all these documents must be clearly dated within the past 2 months, and also show your Florida home address.
- Proof of current mortgage - however, property deeds, mortgage contracts, mortgage payment booklets, or leases are not acceptable.
- Current homeowner's insurance policy
- Current vehicle registration, or insurance policy
- Current household utility bill such as electricity, water, mobile phone, or cable tv
- Post from financial institutions such as bank statements
- Post from federal, state, county, or any government agencies
If you had any additional concerns about purchasing
special tickets, passes, or offers for Florida Residents, then it's always possible to speak in person with a knowledgeable Cast Member by dialling the UK freephone number for
