Hi, I have an expensive camera that I would like to bring but am unsure what I will do with it while on rides. Do attractions such as 7 dwarfs allow you to bring a camera on the ride to wear around my neck? Nicole

    Hi Nicole!

Walt Disney World Resort is one of the most photographed vacation destinations in the whole world. I can see why! There are so many gorgeous, fun and whimsical things to photograph. As someone who enjoys taking pictures, you're going to have a blast!

I typically carry a backpack with me throughout my visits to the Disney theme parks. I've never had a problem finding a safe place to stow my backpack on the rides. Therefore, I recommend that you bring a small but protective camera case for your camera. Place your camera in that bag before you board rides like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. That will keep it much safer than allowing it to bounce around on a neck strap while you ride.

Be sure to pick up complimentary maps as you enter each Disney theme park. Look for "Nikon picture spot" icons on those maps. (The Nikon picture spots can also be identified on the theme park maps found in your My Disney Experience mobile app.) They point out locations that are perfect for capturing gorgeous, iconic photos in the parks. You will also know when you see a PhotoPass photographer that you've found a great place to capture a spectacular photo.

Enjoy your photo safari at Walt Disney World Resort, and be sure to step in front of that camera yourself every once in awhile. Years from now, you'll be so glad to have photos recording your vacation.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
