Boo to you, Steve! Welcome to the planDisney panel, where my pals and I are thrilled to have you with us.
You'll be setting out for adventure this fall on one of my favorite experiences at sea, a
Halloween on the High Seas cruise! It's a spooktacular time, Steve, and I can't wait for your travel party to set sail. Between the Halloween decor and the themed activities, there is so much to see and do. You can get a taste of what to expect if you listen to (or watch... it was filmed in the Haunted Mansion!)
episode three of the planDisney podcast. Two of my fellow panelists and I chatted with the host about what to expect onboard and around the theme parks for the Halloween season.
The daily activity schedule will be available to view once you step onboard the ship! Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app if you haven't done so already. Before your cruise, you can use the app to reserve onboard activities when your online booking window opens, check in to your cruise 30 days prior to your sailing, and view a character-filled countdown ticking down the seconds till the fun begins! There is even a new feature of the app in the "Explore" section that will share lots of information about what to expect onboard.
Once you are walking on to the Fantasy for your cruise vacation to begin, that's when you'll connect to the onboard Wi-Fi, open up the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, and see everything that your Cruise Director has planned for you. You'll see what night Mickey's Mousequerade Party is planned, which evening Pirate Night will be, your dining rotation, the suggested dress attire for each evening, and which movies will be showing onboard. If you just can't wait that long, you can
call Disney Cruise Line about one week prior to sailing to see if the movies are listed for your sailing and to ask if they know which evening Pirate Night is planned. Pirate Night will likely be Tuesday, but entertainment schedules are subject to change. On my most recent cruise, Pirate Night was switched so that we could party on deck and avoid a forecasted rain storm.
For your 7-night cruise, you can expect one formal evening, one semi-formal evening, one pirate attire evening, and one evening where guests will be donning Halloween costumes. As always, the suggest attired is optional, and you can happily wear cruise casual attire every evening onboard.
I know that your cruise will be packed full of fun! Here's a
handy checklist to help you as you begin to pack your bags for the vacation.
Thank you for reaching out to us, Steve. Please sail our way again in the future if you have any more questions for us. We aim to be all tips and treats but no tricks! Happy Halloween!
