Hi, I am going to disney world in summer of 2012. I have 2 rooms booked (new royal rooms). Do you happen to know what building number and possible room numbers would be best to stay in. I am looking for somewhere close to main building. Thanks

    Hello Susan!

You are going to love the new Royal Story Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside!  I'll admit I teared up a little when I first saw them because they were so beautiful and I could see my daughter going crazy over the room.

All of the Royal Rooms are located in the Magnolia Bend section of the resort.  They are contained in the Oak Manor and Parterre Place buildings. The Oak Manor building is technically the closest to the main building and Ol' Man Island, but it's not that much closer than the second Royal Rooms building.

The unofficial site is the best resource for all things Port Orleans Resort, including fantastic maps of the building layouts.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with, Susan!
