    Hi,I have the My Disney Exp App. If i click to view the barcode for my tickets, it doesn't allow me to see it. It has everyones names and says 'package ticket'. How will i link these to our magic bands when we get there?

    Hello there Helen, and welcome to planDisney!

    As one of the International specialists on the Panel, I'm always happy to look into the special nuances of the different ways that guests around the world can book their holidays especially with how much they vary from how folks here purchase and access their tickets. For example, did you know that while MagicBands have been known by that name at Disneyland Resort and at Walt Disney World Resort, they are officially known as Disney Bands to international guests outside of the United States.

    • According to a helpful Reservations Cast Member, since your tickets are essentially linked to your package and booked as part of your stay, they will become active once you check in at your Disney Resort Hotel. The Cast Member assisting you at the front desk should then be able to helpfully walk you through the process of ensuring that your Disney Bands are linked and ready to go if you've already purchased them! 
    • When you're here, be sure to make excellent use of your My Disney Experience App where you can set up Disney MagicMobile service and have everything linked and ready to go on your device - again if you're ever unsure whether it's working a knowledgable Cast Member can happily assist. 
    • You'll also want to be aware that compared to the other international Disney Parks like Disneyland Paris or Tokyo Disney Resort, the entry points at Walt Disney World Resort don't require neither barcodes nor QR codes. If you do wish to have a physical piece of admission media that can be scanned or tapped at the entry touch points, international guests have been directed to the Will Call ticketing windows adjacent to the theme park entrances where they can receive cards instead - just be sure to be ready to present your original confirmation emails. From what I've observed, policies have been subject to change without prior notice over the past few years and this can vary depending on how you booked your package and whether this can all be accomplished directly as you check in at your accommodations; either way Guest Relations Cast Members will be happy to point you in the right direction.
