Welcome aboard planDisney! How exciting that you’ll soon be boarding the Disney Adventure for a completely unique Disney cruise experience! And I certainly understand finding something onboard that you love so much that you want to bring a little piece of the magic home with you.
When it comes to purchasing the towels you find in your stateroom, or even other items around the ship that catch your eye, I recommend making
Guest Services one of your stops once you’re onboard. Some of these items may be available for purchase, but availability can vary, so the friendly Cast Members there will have the latest information on what you can purchase during your sailing. If the towels are available, the charge will usually be added to your onboard account and the items will magically appear in your stateroom. Just be careful, because bringing home one favorite item can quickly turn into an Ariel-sized collection of treasures from your sailing!
As for your Disney Visa, the
Cardmember benefits will apply during your sailing, so be sure to add your Disney Visa as your payment method when you complete
Online Check-In. I haven’t had the chance to sail aboard the Adventure yet, but your Key to the World Card will typically have “DV” printed on it to indicate that you’re a Disney Visa Cardmember.
Here’s one tip from my own experience: when you’re checking out at one of
the onboard shops, I recommend taking a quick look to make sure your discount was applied if the merchandise qualifies. I’ve had a purchase where the discount wasn’t automatically applied, and I didn’t notice until later in the day. Thankfully, there was no need to summon Hiro and Baymax for a technical diagnosis! I simply took my receipt back to the shop, and the discount was applied since the purchase qualified. It’s a good reminder to give that receipt a quick glance before heading off on your next adventure.
