Hi, Zack! Welcome to planDisney!
I love your question, Zack. I can just hear in your tone that you're excited to start your Walt Disney World Resort vacation in just a few days by taking in the magic before you even step into the theme parks. You've definitely got some friends here at planDisney who can relate!
Once you've passed under the sign that lets you know you've entered The Most Magical Place on Earth, the World is yours to explore! If you're staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you'll want to take a look at your own surroundings first. After all, you'll need to know the lay of the land for all those late-night-after-the-parks snack attacks! Then you can hop aboard Disney transportation to visit points beyond. Resort hotels that are served by the
monorail,
Resort boat launches, or the
Disney Skyliner are the easiest to access. If your journey will be aboard
Disney buses, keep in mind that they don't travel between Resort hotels. Your best option in that case might be to head to
Disney Springs, then catch another bus from there.
Also, if you'll have a car with you, I recommend keeping it parked when you venture out.
Parking at the Resort hotels is strictly limited to Guests staying there or with dining reservations, so I wouldn't take a chance at being turned away if you just wanted to look around.
I'm so excited for you to begin your Walt Disney World Resort vacation with a touch of pixie-dusted adventure, Zack! Thank you so much for stopping by, and please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
