Hi I can’t seem to link my genie app to my booking reference and start the planing. Can you help please?

    Hiya Katherine!

Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so glad you decided to stop by and ask us this magical question, and I am honoured to help you during your planning process. Planning your Disney vacation can sometimes be tricky, but that's what we're here for. You and me, we're in a club now!

There are a few things you can do to link your reservations to your My Disney Experience account successfully. First, make sure that your reservations are not already booked, as this could lead you to receive error messages when trying to link them a second time. Indeed, reservations sometimes get automatically linked to your account if you were logged in when making that purchase. To check which reservations are connected, simply log into your My Disney Experience account and check the "My Plans" section or "Future Plans" on the mobile app. Second, I always try to use a different web browser or a different device when I am experiencing technical issues. Indeed, if you are experiencing issues on the My Disney Experience mobile app, try logging into your account on your computer and vice versa. Finally, if you are still experiencing issues, don't hesitate to call a Disney Cast Member. Cast Members truly are real-life fairy godparents, and they will be able to link your reservations for you correctly.

Now, Katherine, did you know you will visit the Walt Disney World Resort at an especially magical time? If there are any fans of the Halloween season in your party, I highly recommend buying tickets to one of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parties at Magic Kingdom Park. Not only do these special events have spooky fireworks, entertainment and a parade, but you even get to dress up and trick or treat around the park! If you are more of a foodie, definitely make sure to visit the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. The EPCOT Festivals always make your visits so unique, and with so many new food options to try, it is perfect for fans of international cuisines. Lastly, the 50th-anniversary celebrations continue through the Spring of 2023, so check out the unique offerings available only during this celebration!

I hope this was helpful, Katherine, and that you will have the best day ever on your next trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach back out. Much like grim grinning ghosts, we love to come out and socialize!

Bon appétit and boo to you,

    Ariane
