Hi I can't figure out how to book a split stay - we are two adults wanting to stay at Disney World for 6 nights, with three nights at Pop Century and 3 nights at Wilderness Lodge. I can only buy park tickets for the first 3 nights. Can you help?

Hey Howdy Hey Siri and welcome to planDisney!

I love a good split stay, spending time at two resorts gives you some time to enjoy the amenities of each resort. I think you have got two great candidates in Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Wilderness Lodge setting your trip up for some great lodging! The tricky part about booking a split stay is the situation you have come across online. Let's review the process and try and get you where you need to be!

So as you have seen, when booking a Disney vacation package, including accommodations at a Disney Resort Collection hotel and theme park tickets, you are only able to book theme park tickets for the maximum amount of time you will be staying at your resort. Considering you will be staying at two separate ones, this will have to be two separate transactions. So if you wanted to stay three nights at each and spend six days in the parks, you will have two separate bookings each with a three-day park pass.

Sometimes if you call Disney, the Cast Member may be able to override that block and have the park tickets on just one of the reservations.

I'm sure you have already looked into it, but did you know that Bell Services will transport your bags and suitcases from one resort to the other? No matter which resort you start at, after you check out, stop by Bell Services at your first resort and let them know you will be transferring over to the second resort. They will be able to take your bags and have them waiting for you at Bell Services at your new resort that day! I have been told multiple times that this process does take some time and not to leave any items you may need such as medications in them.

This added benefit is especially great if you plan to visit a park that day. You can drop your bags off at Bell Services and then on the way back to your resort, head straight to your new one! With online check-in available through your My Disney Experience app and Direct-to-Room Service, this is such a convenient option just to be notified through the app when your room is ready and your room assignment!

Good luck getting your reservations booked and we cannot wait to welcome you and your travel party to the Most Magical Place on Earth real soon! If you have any further questions please feel free to stop back, we would be happy to help!

    Happy planning,

    Nick
