Hiya Phylisha!
Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so glad you stopped by to ask us this magical question and that you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with your nephew. I have the most wonderful memories from my trips with my family, so I cannot wait for you and yours to create magical memories that will last a lifetime!
Unfortunately, Guests may not be included in another Guest's
theme park reservation if reservations for this park are sold out. Indeed, you would need to book a theme park reservation for that specific ticket, and while Cast Members can also aid with that, they are not able to create theme park reservations for parks that are sold out. My recommendation, in this case, would be to keep an eye on
availability as more reservations sometimes become available based on demand. You can also reach out to a Cast Member via
chat,
email or
phone if you have any other questions about this process.
Now, if you want your nephew to get in the holiday spirit but cannot get a reservation to a specific park, do not fret! There are a few ways to make still your vacation absolutely magical. First, if you can get a reservation to any of the theme parks, you could use the
Park Hopper Option and visit the theme park that was not available starting at two P.M. EST. Unfortunately, since Park Hopper is based on availability, your entry would only be guaranteed at the theme park you reserved, but it is an alternative. Also, the Resort hotels have so many fun activities available to Guests throughout the year, specifically during the holidays. Most of these activities do not require a reservation, so they would also be a good option for you!
I hope this was helpful, Phylisha, and that you and your Ohana will have the most magical vacation together on your upcoming Disney trip. If you have any other questions leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach back out! I am sending warm hugs and lots of pixie dust your way.
Have a magical day,
Ariane
