Hi, I am booking a vacation for my sister and nieces who lost their husband/father. He passed on from colon cancer after a tough fight. My younger niece is severely disabled. How can I create a special memory like a night in the castle or something ni

    Hi, Heather!

The Cinderella Castle Suite is not able to be reserved or requested. How to stay for a night a bit of a mystery even for us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Sometimes there are contests with a night stay inside Cinderella Castle as the grand prize. Other times Guests have been randomly approached and asked if they would like to stay for the night.

There are still many ways to make this a special trip for your sister and niece. Consider booking a Theme Park view room at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, or Disney's Contemporary Resort. This will offer you glimpses of Cinderella Castle and a fantastic view of the nighttime fireworks - Wishes nighttime spectacular. These resorts are also right on the monorail loop which allows for easy transportation to both Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot.

A dessert party is a fantastic way to add a bit of VIP status to your Walt Disney World vacation. Enjoy delicious desserts in a prime viewing area, allowing you to take in every bit of magic! Choose between IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party at Epcot, Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom Park, or if The Force is strong in you the Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

There are some creative ways to celebrate the life of your brother in law while visiting by spreading magic to others while making him part of your special vacation. Here are some ideas to get you started.

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
