Hi-I am booking a Disney hotel through a third party vendor for a conference. How would I go about booking a dining plan? Thank you.

Hi Andrea and welcome to planDisney!

I'm really excited to see that the Disney Dining Plan is coming back next year!  My family often took advantage of the Disney Dining Plan during our Walt Disney World vacations and loved to make the most out of our dining credits.

The Disney Dining Plan is currently only available to Guests who have booked a 2024 Walt Disney World vacation package that includes tickets and a hotel stay, so you would not be able to add it to a Disney Resort hotel room-only reservation through a third party.  You could look into booking a vacation package outside of your conference, but I would venture to guess that you would be better off booking your room through your conference and paying out of pocket for your meals.

If you are planning on staying for multiple days, I recommend purchasing the Resort refillable mug, which is good for unlimited refills for your length of stay and includes various options from the soda fountain as well as hot tea, coffee and hot chocolate.  They can be refilled at any Disney Resort hotel, so if your conference is at a different hotel than the one you are staying in, you can bring your mug with you.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
