Hi I just booked a trip staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge. My family loves animals so I thought it would be great. I’m alittle worried about the travrl time to the other parks. Can you please tell me how far it is. Thanks Louise

    Hi Louise,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Once you board the bus shuttles at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, the trips both to Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot may take 20 to 30 minutes. To get to Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will probably take 15 to 20 minutes, while your journey to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park will last up to 15 minutes.

There is a new feature on the My Disney Experience mobile app that may help you plan, as it enables Guests to check estimates for buses departing and arrival times. If you wish to travel faster, you can also request the Minnie Van Service through the Lyft app.

Magical Tip: At Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you can surprise your family by booking the Caring for Giants experience to observe elephants, meet the specialists who provide for the wellness of the herd and discover new facts about those animals.

Another Magical Tip: In my opinion, Jiko - The Cooking Place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the best restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort. Dining there is specially awesome after the Wanyama Safari, a guided adventure through the savanna to spot up to 30 different animal species. After the safari, Guests are welcomed to a multi-course meal at Jiko - The Cooking Place with many delicious samples of its sumptuous cuisine.

I'll be here hoping to assist you once again!

May the magic be with you,
