Welcome to planDisney, Tijmen! It's so nice to virtually meet you.
If the tickets you have purchased are for the Walt Disney World Resort and are linked to your
My Disney Experience account, you are likely okay to use them. However, if you want to be sure, you can check with a friendly Cast Member
by calling the Disney Parks Tickets line at the resort. While tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, you are usually able to apply the value you've spent on your ticket purchase to a new ticket purchase.
Now I see that you are planning to visit the resort in the spring. As such, I feel I must present some evidence in a case to you, your honor (if you're not a judge, you are now). It's the case of Tijmen and His Travel Party Should Go to the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival on His Springtime Visit.
Exhibit A: The
Topiaries. These beautiful sculptures decorate the entire park and are carefully sculpted by the
Cast Members who are part of the horticulture team. Last year,
the Encanto topiaries and the topiary of Tiana were my absolute favorites.
Exhibit B: The
Garden Rocks Concert Series. Every year, there is an incredible lineup of artists, and these concerts are included in your theme park ticket! Need I say more? Just make sure to line up early for some of the more popular artists. Or, if you don't want to worry about queueing up ahead of time, you can book a
Garden Rocks Dining Package. But that's a case for a different day and I'm currently working on gathering the evidence.
Exhibit C: The
Outdoor Kitchens. This is the most compelling piece of evidence I have to present. On the website, it calls the offerings mouthwatering, but they are so much more. I can't wait for the menus to be announced. They are always fresh, delicious, and innovative. Who needs full meals when you can just graze around these delicious festival booths? No, really, I'm asking, who? Because I have some arguments and evidence ready for
that case too!
Tijmen, I'm not going to wait around for the verdict, because I know the answer is that you should
definitely go. But whether you will or not is entirely up to you! I hope you get your issue with your tickets squared away as quickly as possible. This way, you can just follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog leading up to your magical vacation for
all the details related to this festival you're going to fall in love with...and oh yeah, all the
other exciting details that this one-stop source churns out daily!
