Hi, I booked our 4th cruise for December 10th going to the Bahamas, however I am wondering how is the water temperature in CC. It will be to cold to enjoy the beach?

    Hi Nikki!
Congratulations on booking your fourth Disney Cruise! Just one more sailing, and you'll have Gold Castaway Club status - how exciting. What fun to cruise in December, when the ships will be decorated beautifully for the holidays! We sailed in December two years ago, and really loved it.

Temperatures in Castaway Cay during December typically range between 64 and 77 degrees. While not hot, the temps are certainly warm enough to enjoy the beach! The water temps might be cool, but you're certain to see lots of guests braving the chill for a dip in the water. On our December cruise, we had a double-dip (two stops) in Castaway Cay. On the first day, it was a bit chilly. The second time we stopped on the island, it was rather warm outside, and we all ventured out to snorkel!

Regardless of the temperature, there's plenty to see, do, and enjoy in Disney's private paradise. Our favorite is to rent bicycles for a quick ride around the island, with a stop at the observation tower. The view from the top is awesome!
