Hello Sharon. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I love having a character breakfast at
Walt Disney World. I think it's so fun to go out for breakfast because I don't typically do that too often at home and then add a Princess of two and I'm sold. But the best part is that most of the breakfast character meals at Walt Disney World are a little bit less expensive than lunch or dinner. As of May 2019, breakfast at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is is $48 for adults and $27. I have more good news for you! Your 2 year old is going to get to eat for free. How awesome right? Children under the age of 3 can dine for free at all
Walt Disney World restaurants. At all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurants you child can have as many personal plates as they wish. At restaurants where you order 1 entree from a menu, your child is able to plate share with the table for free. If you'd like to order your child their own meal at those style restaurants, only then would you be charged.
Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get back to the restaurant in the morning. Complimentary transportation begins about 45 minutes prior to that park opening. If that won't get you there in time, I suggest using
Disney's Minnie Van Service. You can request a Minnie Van directly through the Lyft app. They start running at 6:30 am and depending on what time your reservation is might be a better option for you.
I hope this helps you plan a little bit better. If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to come back and ask me.
