Hi, I believe it used to be the case that a family of 4 with an infant under 3 ( in a pack n play) could sleep in most resort rooms. I wonder has this changed in recent years ? We have 3 kids age 2,6,7 and were hoping to stay in destino tower this year!

    Hello Kate,

As the current UK Panelist here at planDisney, it's my pleasure to welcome you to our pixie-dusted spot!  It always makes me extra happy when I have the opportunity to offer a little assistance to a fellow British Guest who also likes to spend their jolly holidays visiting with Mickey Mouse at Walt Disney World Resort.

Oh boy!  Having been lucky enough to have stayed within the Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, I feel sure that you and your dear family are going to enjoy a truly zip-a-dee-doo-dah time staying there too!  I found the rooms in the Gran Destino Tower to be very spacious and modern, yet with a very distinct Disney touch!  And best of all, from my Resort room window, I could clearly see the skyline of EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios in the distance.

My planDisney pro-tip for a room with a view would be to place a request for a room on a higher floor at the Gran Destino Tower that faces the main parking lot.  Room requests can be made during the Online Check-in process, but please do bear in mind that such requests can never be guaranteed at Walt Disney World resort.

Kate, I'm more than happy to share that little Mouseketeers aged 2 years old and younger are considered the honored Guests of Mickey Mouse and therefore don't require Disney Theme Park Tickets, and can be added to a Disney Resorts Collection hotel room reservation without incurring an additional charge.

Additionally, Guests are able to request Cribs and Playpens for their little ones at the time of booking, or upon arrival at their Disney's Resorts Collection hotel.  Kate, I also thought you may find these Disney Resorts Collection hotels - Frequently Asked Questions to be a really useful planning resource for your family.

I hope that I've been able to provide a little insight for you today.  If you should have any additional questions about planning towards your next magical family holiday to Walt Disney World Resort, then please do pop back to planDisney where I'll be glad to help you!

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
