    Hi, I am aware that the new dvc opens at GF October 2013. I know that you do not have to be a dvc member to stay at a dvc resort, could you tell me why it's not available to book for next year? Thanks

    Hi Tammie,

    I am so excited for the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to open - the resort looks positively amazing!

    The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa opened for bookings very recently.  It is now possible for Disney Vacation Club Members to book villas there using vacation points, as well as for non-Disney Vacation Club Members to book villas there using traditional payment methods such as credit card.  However, since the resort is relatively small, there is limited inventory available for booking using traditional payment methods.  Also, it may be hard to secure a reservation if you are looking for very popular dates.  My best advice to you is to call the Walt Disney World resort reservation line at 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639) and speak with a cast member there to see if there is any availability. If you are flexible with your travel dates, you never know, some pixie dust may be sprinkled and you may find a reservation available!
