hi i have been asked a million times if we are celebrating whilst we are in disney but it has just occurred to me that my parents will be celebrating their 40th anniversary in the summer. Do I need to do anything to make sure they are spoilt?! thanks

Celebrating special occasions in Walt Disney World can add extra fun to an already special trip.

You should do two things now to make sure that your parents receive some extra attention:

    1. Have their anniversary noted on your Dining reservations
    2. Have their anniversary noted on their Hotel reservation

While it is not guaranteed, often Cast Members will sprinkle an anniversary couple with some extra pixie dust. In the past, we've received flowers, champagne, balloons, a card signed by Mickey, complimentary desserts, etc. Obviously we've celebrated many birthdays and anniversaries in WDW.

Next, you'll want to ask the hotel's front desk or Guest Services at any of the WDW theme parks for anniversary buttons/pins for your parents. They'll get lots of well-wishes while wearing them!
