Hi, How can I make payments on 2 separate rooms/packages I booked for our family of 5? I can only see 1 room reservation when I go on MDE/My Plans. Do I have to call to pay on the second room (which had to be put under my adult child’s name)? Thanks.

    Howdy Catherine!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Planning a Walt Disney World vacation is so much fun, and I am glad that you shared your question with us!

I have planned quite a few multi-generational vacations over the years, and they are so much fun!  Since you have two rooms, I would recommend having your adult child make their own My Disney Experience account.  Then, I would “call” the Walt Disney World Resort and make sure your adult child’s account reservation is linked to their My Disney Experience.  By doing this, you will be able to make all future payments through your My Disney Experience and your adult child’s My Disney Experience.  I have listed the Walt Disney World phone number in the above word “call.”

I find it easier to have two separate My Disney Experience accounts and then have them linked together.  This way, you can arrange FastPass +, dining, and so much more!  I love the ability to have everything at my fingertips, and I am sure you do too!  The Walt Disney World Resort does a fantastic job of making vacations stress free!  With the My Disney Experience and MagicBands, I know you will be able to relax and have a blast on your upcoming vacation!

Another fantastic feature on your My Disney Experience is the Mobile Food Order option!  I love the ability to sit down at a Quick-Service restaurant and explore the menu without standing in line.  While relaxing at your table, you can build your order, customize certain menu items to your liking, and pay for your meal without ever leaving your table.  Then, wait until you receive a notification that your order is ready, and proceed to the “Mobile Order Pick Up” counter.  There are quite a few “locations” that offer this service.  I have placed a link in the above word “locations,” here is where you will find a list of all the Quick-Service restaurants that offer this feature.

To stay up-to-date on everything to do and see in the months to come, check out the Disney Parks Blog!  Also, if you have any more questions while you are planning, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We look forward to helping you with any further planning questions that you may have!  Happy planning, Catherine!
