Greetings, Martin! I'm so happy you reached out to planDisney with your question and it'll be an honor to help!
I am so excited to hear about your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort in just a few short weeks. I'm sure you are getting all the details arranged (which is half the fun, in my book!) It sounds like you've already begun looking into hotel availability at your preferred property, the
Disneyland Hotel. Indeed, the reservation availability is typically updated in real-time, so I'm sorry that you haven't been able to find the exact reservation you were hoping for. Sometimes, I find that being flexible with my preferred room type or view helps open the availability in the
search tool. I definitely recommend checking back frequently or
calling to speak with a Cast Member by phone who might be able to assist you with your hotel reservation plans.
Martin, you might also consider a reservation at the
Villas at Disneyland Hotel, on the very same property in the newest tower. They look absolutely beautiful and I have had a chance to dine at the
Palm Breeze Bar on the ground floor of this tower and it has a very fun poolside vibe! Nearby,
Pixar Place Hotel recently revealed its new re-theming and the entire hotel is sparkling with inspiration and imagination! All to say, you can't go wrong with some of these alternative accommodations even if you find that a classic Disneyland Hotel room is unavailable for your entire length of stay. In the past, my family has even opted for a split-stay, where we book half of our vacation in one
Disneyland Resort hotel property and half in another. Then, we get to enjoy all the benefits and unique theming, dining, and amenities of each respective property.
I hope these are some helpful suggestions, Martin. If we can share further recommendations, please come back to
planDisney and send us any other questions that might come up.
Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
Tishra
