Hi, How long does it take Magic Express transportation from MCO to Port Orleans Resort. We arrive at 10am and we have reservation to Chef Mickey at 1:30pm. We are trying to decide if we should go directly to the brunch or we have time to check in

    Hi Phabiola!

Whether you will be staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, you are going to have a fantastic Disney Resort hotel for your vacation "home"! Both of these hotels offer beautiful rooms and incredible food, plus you will enjoy all of the benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel during your trip.

Disney's Magical Express is my favorite way to start a Walt Disney World Resort vacation because it makes your airport transportation so quick and easy! When planning your itinerary for the start of your vacation, I recommend that you allow three hours between your scheduled arrival time at Orlando International Airport and the time when you will arrive at your Disney Resort hotel. This will ensure that you have plenty of time to make it through the airport, board your bus, travel to Walt Disney World Resort and stop at other Disney Resort hotels before you arrive at your hotel. In my experience, the trip can sometimes be faster, but I like to plan plenty of time in my itinerary so we don't feel rushed at the start of our vacation.

So if your flight will be arriving at 10:00 a.m., then I would plan to arrive at Disney's Port Orleans Resort at 1:00 p.m. and to make your 1:30 p.m. reservation at Chef Mickey's, you will need to travel directly to Disney's Contemporary Resort when you arrive. Keep in mind that it may take up to 90 minutes to travel from your hotel to Disney's Contemporary Resort, so you may need to take advantage of the Minnie Van Service to get to your brunch on time!

Phabiola, I recommend that you take advantage of Online Check-In before your vacation so you don't have to worry about visiting your hotel Front Desk to check-in for your trip. Come back to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help you with additional questions as your vacation approaches. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
