Hello Darryl!
A very warm welcome to planDisney!! We’re delighted that you’ve brought a question our way!
I typically walk from the Pixar Pals
Parking Structure through the
Downtown Disney District to get to both theme park entrances. So, for me, stepping into Disneyland Resort Esplanade is when the magic truly begins. I’m immediately greeted by familiar Disney tunes and of course, the unique hexagon-shaped paving stones that line the entrance plaza between
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park.
As part of Disney's "Walk of Magical Memories," these bricks were available for purchase and could be personalized with a name, hometown, and a special date. Guests became a part of Disneyland history with their 10-year brick "sponsorship." I’m sorry to inform you that this program ended in 2011. The Disneyland Resort has not announced any plans to remove or replace the tiles. So I don’t believe you’ll have an opportunity to purchase one in the near future.
For the latest park announcements, make sure to stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog. That’s where you’ll find breaking news related to the Disneyland Resort. And, any announcement about this program returning will be announced there first. I hope that your dream of immortalizing your name in stone at “The Happiest Place on Earth” becomes a reality one day!
But until then, thanks for stopping by planDisney and please come back with future questions!
