Hi Patricia, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by to see us with your question. It's always a pleasure to help another Floridian plan a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Patricia, by far the easiest way to buy
Florida Resident tickets to the Walt Disney World theme parks is to order them online. If you haven't already, go ahead and get a
My Disney Experience account. It's free, and it will keep all of your plans like tickets, dining reservations, and theme park reservations in one handy place for you, plus it lets the system know you're eligible for Florida resident offers. Once you have your account all set up, let's go to the
Tickets page on the Walt Disney World website, where you should see a box that says "Florida Resident Ticket" with a blue "Select" button. Click there and follow the prompts to choose the number of days you'd like to visit and to add options like
Park Hopper. You'll also need to
provide proof of Florida residency before you can use your tickets to enter a theme park. You can do that online (although you may need a separate My Disney Experience account for each ticket holder to verify online), or
visit a Guest Relations location at the entrance to any of the theme parks or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.
As soon as you've bought your tickets, Patricia, be sure to hop onto the
Disney Park Pass page and make your theme park reservations. You'll need them before you enter the parks, and they tend to book up very quickly. You can check the dates you want to visit on the
Availability Calendar first, then make your reservations as soon as you can.
If you have any problems ordering your tickets, you can
call Disney's Guest Relations and speak directly to a Cast Member who will be happy to walk you right through it.
I hope this helps you plan a magical visit to Walt Disney World, Patricia. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
