Hi there Allison and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that you stopped by with your question as you prepare for your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
I am the mother of a princess that is eagerly awaiting the chance for a makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort. Currently, as part of the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is open as a retail location only and not available for hair and makeup appointments at this time. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has a wide variety of regal gowns and sparkling accessories available for purchase. If you are looking for a little bit of extra magic during your time in Disneyland Park, you can visit with one of the Fairy Godmothers-in-training at the entrance to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to request a sprinkling of pixie dust. This complimentary service requires no appointment and is one way to add some royal sparkle to the prince and princesses (even kings and queens, if desired) in your travel party.
If you will be on the lookout for princess encounters while visiting the Disneyland Resort, I recommend heading to the Fantasy Faire area (to the left side of the front of the castle) of Disneyland Park to greet your fellow royalty. In Disney California Adventure Park, I recently spotted Anna and Elsa on Buena Vista Street. You can use the
Disneyland app to check when and where your favorite Disney Characters will be during your day.
I hope that you have a day fit for royalty and that you enjoy your time in Disneyland! Please visit us again if you have any further questions. My pals and I would love to help.
See ya real soon,
Adrianna
