Hiya Tracey,
Welcome back! I’m so glad I could help you with your previous question, and I hope to do the same today!
Walt Disney World Resort is well known for being a feast for all senses, including smell; many locations pipe in fragrance throughout the resort and Theme Parks. In my experience, each Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel has a scent that helps to transport you to the theme of the resort. For instance,
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort smells of mango, papaya, lime, and the ocean.
Disney’s Port Orleans-French Quarter transports you to the Southern United States with the smell of peonies, freesia, cotton, and other floral scents. Clover and aloe fragrances are the signature scents of
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. I would say that the smell is most potent in the lobby, but it can linger in the individual resort rooms. I’ve personally never felt like it was too strong in my room but depending on your sensitivity to smell; it may still irritate you. If you are curious about the specific smells of each resort hotel, I find that you can get reasonably close by searching for the scents online. This could help you avoid the resorts with scent profiles that more strongly trigger your allergies in favor of those with a milder impact.
I hope this was helpful, Tracey!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
