Hello, Dorothy! Welcome back to planDisney. It's a pleasure to have you cruise our way with your question as you prepare for a Disney Cruise!
I'd be happy to outline the
Alcohol Policy for you so that you are shipshape and ready to sail. As it turns out, there isn't a specific alcohol percentage mentioned in the guidelines for bringing alcohol aboard the ship; rather, guests 21 years of age and over may bring a maximum of two bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or six beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board. Please be sure to pack any alcohol in your carry-on luggage. If you'd like to enjoy your wine or champagne in one of the dining rooms of the ship, a corking fee will be charged per bottle.
Have you taken a peek at the
Beverage Tastings available to book on your sailing? Your
onboard booking activities window will open 75 days prior to your sail date if you are a first-time guest, and even sooner if you are a returning Disney Cruise Line guest and member of the
Castaway Club.
Of all the activities that you can book prior to setting sail, my favorite is definitely a reservation at the adult-exclusive restaurant,
Palo. Whether you choose brunch or dinner, you can't go wrong with the beautiful atmosphere, exquisite service, and delectable menu. If you have children in your sailing party, they can be happily occupied at the nursery or kids' spaces onboard while you dine. Palo is a must-do for me!
Dorothy, have a wonderful time sailing with Captain Minnie and Captain Mickey! We'll be here for you if you have more questions.
See ya real soon,
Adrianna
