How high is the space under the bed for storing luggage?

    Hi, Steve!

Disney Cruise Line staterooms are one of a kind! Most staterooms have privacy curtains, extra storage, and split bathrooms with a tub. It’s incredible how well the space is laid out. The stateroom bed is elevated about 12” off the ground to provide space under the bed to store suitcases. I’ve traveled with suitcases of various sizes, and we have never had an issue fitting our luggage under the bed.

There are also shelves and storage in the closet. The split bathroom has plenty of space for personal care items, and the vanity area is the perfect spot to store curling irons, brushes, and hair care products.

I always bring a pop-up laundry hamper to keep our dirty clothes contained. It fits conveniently in the closet, making packing to return home much easier. If you plan to do any laundry, you can use the hamper to carry your items to the laundry room, too!

I hope you find your stateroom just as comfortable as I do! If you need an extra blanket or bed rails, feel free to ask your Stateroom Host. The Crew is happy to help. As you continue planning, please come back with any other questions you may have.
