Hiya, Jean, and welcome to planDisney! It's so wonderful that you're here with this awesome question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Bringing a little one to the Most Magical Place on Earth is such a special experience, and you're going to have an absolute blast!
Jean, I'm so happy that I get to share some great tips with you today about bringing little ones to Walt Disney World Resort. I have three kiddos who each took some of their first steps in the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels and Disney Theme Parks, and I have such sweet memories of each fun stage of their childhood. As we approach the teenage years, I'm looking forward to lots of thrill rides and maybe some later nights in the parks!
You'll be happy to know that you're welcome to request a high chair for your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room. You can reach out to a helpful
Cast Member prior to your arrival or stop by the Front Desk as you check in. These types of items are, of course, subject to availability. You might also be interested in a pack n' play, toddler bed rails, extra blankets, and other items that can help your little one stay comfortable. Feel free to ask what items are available!
Did you know that each
Disney Theme Park has a
Baby Care Center? These amazing facilities are the perfect place to stop for a few minutes with your little one. There are high chairs, changing tables, nursing and pumping areas, and even a kitchen where you can prep bottles and food. Each Baby Care Center has a variety of baby essentials available for purchase, like formula, bottles, diapers, wipes, apparel, and even children's medication. These items vary by location, but it's so great to know where to find them! I'll attach a video of the Baby Care Centers that we filmed earlier this year, so that you can have a preview of what you'll experience when you arrive.
A good stroller is essential for your visit. Whether you bring one from home or
rent one in the parks, you'll be glad to have a place for your little one to rest and take in the scenery. You're welcome to bring any feeding materials and snacks that you or your little one needs into the parks with you, and if you need a cooler, just remember to use ice packs rather than loose ice, as that's
not allowed in the parks. I always have some applesauce and a water bottle on hand!
Jean, I hope this is helpful to you as you plan your vacation. If you have any other questions about traveling to Walt Disney World Resort, or would like more tips on bringing your little one, please stop back by planDisney anytime!
See you real soon!
