Hi! Getting ready to book my honeymoon (7/8-7/16) and are debating between the two PO resorts. Any suggestions? Really struggling. Or would we better off at another moderate? Usually stay at All-Star movies. Thanks!

    Hi, Jaimie!

I am so glad you asked this question!

My 11-year-old son and I just came back from a stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside, and I have to tell you that we were blown away by its beauty. We usually stay at Disney Vacation Club Resorts, but my little guy was impressed immediately by the beauty of the landscaping as well as the impressive architecture of the Magnolia section of Riverside, so much so that he begged me to book our next stay there. It's that lovely.

While French Quarter is also beautiful, I think you'll see what I mean about the stunning nature, scale and design of the Magnolia section at Riverside by looking at photos online. Head over to the unofficial fan site AllEars.net, and hover over "Walt Disney World," then "Accommodations" and Photo Gallery. Select Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort Photo Slide Show and scroll up to slide 41-49 for photos of this area. (Parterre buildings are also lovely...)

I say struggle no more! This is a truly special resort, one which is so very impressive, you're sure to love it. After all, it is your honeymoon, so take a look at these photos and imagine your very romantic first get-away together right there. Ahh...it's beautiful.

Send more questions about this resort or any other aspect of your trip, Jaimie; I'd love to help make those the most magical moments for magnificent memories for years to come. :-)
