    Hi, For the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary, will they celebrate for a whole year? If so, will it likely be Jan - Dec celebration, or Oct 2021 - Oct 2022 ? Thanks Mom's/Dad's.

    Oh my, I love a planner who is working ahead! But honestly I doubt if Disney even knows for sure what they will do for their 50th celebration in 2021.

    Since the Magic Kingdom opened on October 1, 1971, I will assume that the day will be quite important in the celebration. This is the park that started it all and the other three parks opened years later. Disney loves birthdays and they love celebrations so I am sure we will be in for a big treat for this milestone. Beyond knowing the exact birthday being October 1 it would be impossible to know if a celebration will continue for months or a year. We will all have to keep watching for updates in the next year or so and the Disney Parks Blog is a great place to see the latest news and announcements.
