Hi! First time visiting and considering May 17-22, 2012. I am curious about crowd levels and hoping to book club level at Contemporary. Which dining plan would you suggest to accompany this? Thank you!

    Hi Jill!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

A first visit to Walt Disney World is always an exciting one, with so many new things to discover. I love visiting in May, and typically the crowd levels at this time of year are of average size, so plenty of people but the lines to attractions are still manageable.

The Contemporary Resort is a great choice.  You are so close to the Magic Kingdom theme park, and the monorail goes right inside the hotel, linking you to the Magic Kingdom, the other resorts around Seven Seas Lagoon, and the Transportation and Ticket Center.  You also have Chef Mickey's and the California Grill at this hotel which are fantastic restaurants, along with a good selection of other eating places here too.

I would suggest the 2012 Disney Dining Plan as a good plan to start with.  This is my favourite dining plan.  It offers one Table-Service meal, one Counter-Service meal and one Snack per person, per day, and one Refillable Resort Mug per person, which you can refill at the Counter-Service restaurant at your resort for the length of your stay.

If you have any more questions please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
